Disney Y.E.S. Program Disneyland Youth Education Series (Y.E.S.)

The Youth Education Series at the Disneyland Resort offers a variety of educational programs for ages 8-18. Ranging from the Disney Story to The Golden State to 3 different Physics programs where you get to see and apply how physics are incorporated in the parks, or you can learn about Leadership and Team work the Disney way. Practice teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

With each program being led by a Disney facilitator, you will get to go explore attractions or backstage and see how the magic is placed in the parks.

LIBERAL ARTS

Educational Field Studies Designing a Disney Story
at Disney California Adventure Park (ages 8-18)

Students learn about the complex components that work together to bring favorite Disney Characters and stories to both the big screen and the Disney Theme Parks.

Exploring the Golden State
at Disney California Adventures Park (ages 8-11)

Students travel through the Park to explore the history and landscape of California, including the state's four regions, the legacy of Native Americans, the impact of the Gold Rush and the influence of the California missions.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Educational Field Studies Disney's Approach to Leadership and Teamwork
at Disneyland Park (ages 11-18)

Your group will discover the four C.'s of Walt Disney leadership, used since the inception of Disneyland Park.

Creating a Leadership Legacy
at Disney California Adventures Park (ages 12-18)

Students learn how to develop their own leadership legacy, become confident in their ability to accomplish goals and be motivated to achieve the impossible.

APPLIED SCIENCES

Educational Field Studies Energy and Waves Physics Lab 101
at Disneyland Park (ages 8-11)

Students discover light and sound as forms of energy and how to use them in practical application.

Energy and Waves Physics Lab 201
at Disney California Adventures Park (ages 11-18)

Your group will witness physics principles such as electromagnetism, acoustics, optics, and the transmission of light and sound waves at work in Disney Theme Park attractions.

Properties of Motion Physics Lab
at Disney California Adventures Park (ages 8- 11)

Study Newton's Laws of Motion and use the scientific method to explore the practical uses of speed, velocity, friction, gravity and different forms of energy.
